Liv's Health Scare- What's Been Going on?!

Hey beautiful girls! I know I haven't posted on here in a few days and here is why.

I've been getting very severe migraines for about 2 years now and just to be safe my doctor wanted me to get a CT scan. So yesterday was my appointment at 3:30. Pretty much all a CT scan is is they give you an IV and then you lay in the machine and they run fluid in you thru your IV and the machine takes some pictures of your nerves. Towards the end of the scan the roof of my mouth and my throat started feeling very tight and dry. I told my mom and she told the 2 younger ladies doing the scan. One went and got me a glass of water but I was having trouble breathing and water was not helping.
I sat there for about a minute and then one of the girls took my mom and I upstairs to see a nurse. By the time we got on the elevator, my eye was swelled shut and it look as though I had a grape under my eyelid.
As soon as we got to the nurse she said we needed to call in a radiologist. He gave me some Benedryl through my IV and the nurse took my blood pressure and pulse. Things were looking alright but I was still struggling to breathe normally. At this point my mom was trying to contact the rest of my family who was at home and she was taking this very hard. It's so hard to see my mom sitting there crying in this situation when there is nothing I can do to make myself feel better. They decided to put me in a wheelchair and rush me down to the Emergency Room.
Down there, 6 doctors and 2 nurses all piled in and hooked me up to many machines and got some fluid running through my IV. By this time it was only about 4:30.
Thankfully, after laying in my room in the ER for about an hour, my throat was feeling much better and the swelling in my eye was going down. But, since they ran 3 different medicines through my IV they had to observe me for 2 more hours. So I layed in my bed for a couple more hours and fell off in to a light sleep every once in a while.
I am so blessed that I have the greatest mother in the world who never left my side the whole time. I got back home around 8:30 PM and had a normal night at home, minus the fact that I was being bombarded with texts saying "Are you okay?!", "Is there anything I can do?", etc.(:
I never would have guessed that just getting a CT scan to see if there was any obvious reason why I get migraines would have caused so much.
I am so thankful that I had the best nurses and doctors with me and with how advanced the technology is today, I didn't have to worry that I wasn't going to leave the hospital that night doing much better(:

I just wanted to let you all know what is going on and I want to feel as though I can talk to you about my health whenever.
Thank you SO much for all the support and understanding I love you all soso much!

Much love, Liv
